The Executioner is about the value of life, it follows the dilemmas that several prison guards must face, when the government decides to reinstate the death penalty and they are forced to carry on the executions. The guards are torn between following their orders and the blame they feel about doing so.
The movie starts with a light tone, and gets darker as we see how the characters come to terms with what they have to do. Great movie, but very sad. Definitely not for evryone
