Tanggal 26 Desember 2004, 01.58 WIB, 6 jam sebelum terjadinya tsunami, terjadi berbagai kekacauan waktu (time glitch) di berbagai belahan dunia. Andi, Dara, dan teten yang sedang dalam acara liburan mereka pada dini hari yang naas tersebut dan sedang dalam perjalanan pulang ke Cibubur.

Sesaat setelah melewati suatu kabut yang tipis, mereka mulai tidak mengenali daerah yang mereka lalui. Dalam kebingungan mereka mulai memperlambat laju kendaraan mereka dan mulai meneliti keberadaan mereka. Apa yang mereka lihat kemudian adalah suatu hal yang tidak dapat diterima secara akal sehat. Dibawah sorotan sinar lampu mobil, berdiri megah Jam Gadang Bukittinggi, yang jaraknya kurang lebih 1008 km dari Jakarta. Mereka ada di tengah kota Bukittinggi padahal sesaat yang lalu mereka masih di Cibubur.

Berbagai kejadian aneh setelah peristiwa tersebut membuat para mahasiswa ini kalang kabut menghadapi situasi yang rasanya tidak nyata. Kelelahan fisik dan mental ini membuat Andi, mahasiswa Nagoya University Jepang meminta bantuan Prof. David Leman yang memang ahli dalam Quantum Physic Research Nagoya untuk datang ke Indonesia. Dengan bantuan David, mereka mencoba memecahkan misteri yang menimpa Andi dan teman-temannya. Satu hal yang mereka ketahui adalah konon pada zaman dahulu kala leluhur mereka seperti Wali Songo dan lain-lain mempunyai kesaktian dapat pergi ke tempat lain atau mereka mempunyai sebuah "vortex" atau lorong waktu yang dapat mereka lewati.

Setelah melalui berbagai macam perjuangan, akhirnya mereka menemukan dimana letak vortex ini. Satu hal yang mengejutkan adalah vortex ini juga terletak diatas lembah dan jurang yang amat dalam, sehingga meloncat ke vortex juga berarti bunuh diri. Bagaimana cara Andi, Dara dan teten untuk kembali ke dunia mereka?
